Hello!
I am Mayank Sharma, a hydrogeologist by profession. With a background in surface and borehole geophysical investigation of aquifers, I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology from St. Xavier’s College, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. My research experience includes projects on artificial groundwater recharge and aquifer prospecting using the Vertical Electrical Sounding method. Combining my interests in natural resource management, energy conservation, and groundwater exploration, I founded The Green Sphere, a company dedicated to promoting sustainability and contributing to a greener future.
Our Story
The Green Sphere was born out of the passion for environmental conservation, sustainability, and responsible resource management. It all began with our owner, who completed his Master's degree in Earth Sciences from St. Xavier's College. During his academic journey, he developed a keen interest in hydrogeology and natural resource management, recognizing their critical importance in shaping a sustainable future. Fueled by enthusiasm and driven by a desire to make a tangible impact, our owner embarked on a path of gaining extensive working experience and conducting valuable research in these domains. This journey took him to various parts of the world, where he witnessed firsthand the pressing environmental challenges faced by different communities and ecosystems.
Armed with this knowledge and a burning ambition to effect positive change, our owner envisioned a consultancy firm that would address these challenges head-on. Thus, The Green Sphere was founded with a clear mission to promote environmental conservation, sustainability, and responsible resource management. With years of working experience and a strong foundation in research, our owner assembled a team of highly skilled professionals who shared the same passion and commitment. Together, we set out to provide innovative solutions and services in the fields of environmental conservation, afforestation, natural resource management, groundwater management, tubewell installation, and energy conservation.
